Adult Education Programs
Temple Sinai offers "Adult Education" during the winter months on Sundays and "The Jewish Way" during spring on a Wednesday. The themes are Beginner's Hebrew (through April 30) and Jewish Cooking (March 29 through June 7). We have had additional classes such as "How to Lead a Service".
The schedule for coming months is:
Adult Education: Beginner's Hebrew Class, Sundays at 1 pm with Rabbi Sokol
Sundays between November 13, 2016 and April 30, 2017, open to the entire community of Hampton Roads. If you've never had the opportunity to learn Hebrew or learned it a long time ago and managed to forget it (it doesn't take much). I hope you will consider joining me for a beginner's Hebrew class. Knowing Hebrew allows us to read prayers in their original form and understand what they actually mean. It doesn't get better than that!
